Job Purpose
To own, be accountable for a collection of Projects within the MDIS Group. They are expected own the delivery of projects through appropriate governance processes as part of company project structures, meeting expectations of an FCA regulated company. The role will manage several company projects. They will be part of a team tasked with setting the tone for all ongoing projects ensuring good organisation and record keeping. They will instil a drive to complete amongst each specific project team, through their enthusiasm, good example, and pro-active attitude They will ensure that the work performed by the project teams is transparent and shared openly to all parties. They will ensure that all projects follow an agreed project structure, and make sure the structure is appropriate to each project and documented.
Overview of responsibilities
To manage company projects. Ensuring transparency, and governance in place.
Communicate project progress and challenges to Senior Management committees
Build and demonstrate a positive working environment, becoming the go to for specific projects.
To guide the project through to successful completion by effective management of resource, risks, and dependencies.
To consider full project lifecycle, including pre-project and post completion activities.
To help determine long and short-term metrics for each ongoing project ensuring success is measurable.
Seek out, build relationships, and help SMEs in all areas of the company.
Seek feedback and look for avenues of continual improvement for the project team.
Recognise failing projects and escalate early and to the right audience to bring the project back in line.
Manage the presentation of Business projects through various electronic means. o Teams o JIRA o Excel. o PowerPoint Provide out of hours support on key occasions.
Experience / Skills
Demonstrable experience in Project Management and the Software Delivery process.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Suitable qualifications and experience in the following disciplines
Project Management,
Computer Software related
Excellent Microsoft office skills
